A forty-five-minute haircut, the way a haircut ought to be done. The Gentleman’s Cut is the cornerstone of the shop — the cut most patrons come back for, the cut everything else on the tariff is built on top of.
What’s included
We start by sitting you down and asking how you want it. If you don’t know, Jessica will tell you what your hair wants to do, and we’ll go from there. The actual cut is done with shears — clippers only where they belong, around the ear and on the neck. We finish with a hot towel, clean up the line at the nape, and work in a soft pomade if you’d like one. You leave with the cut, not the cut and a bag of homework.
Who it’s for
Men who want a real haircut: a clean part, a workable length on top, weight where it belongs and not where it doesn’t. We do business cuts, classic side parts, longer textured looks, grown-out cuts that just need a tidy, and the modern work too — skin fades, taper cuts, the cleaner contemporary lines.
How long it takes
Forty-five minutes is real time, not advertised time. We don’t book back-to-back without a buffer, and we don’t rush the part-line or the neck. If you sit down at 2:00 PM, we’ll have you out by 2:45 PM.
How to book
Reserve a chair online or telephone the shop. Walk-ins are welcome after 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Cash, card, and tip-at-your- discretion. Pair the cut with a Hot-Towel Shave for the full ritual, or step up to The Full Treatment for cut, shave, beard, and tonic in one ninety-minute sit.
