A Trim &
A Shave,
Honestly Done.
— Waterloo Barbershop —
A working gentlemen's parlour on Bee Caves Road in West Austin. Brass fixtures, oxblood leather, and an honest chair. We open the doors at half past eight and put on the kettle whenever a regular hangs his coat. Sit down, Jessica will see you.
The Barber's Charter, in Brief.
Waterloo is a parlour for the working gentleman. We cut hair, we trim beards, and we shave with a straight razor and a good hot towel. We do this slowly, on purpose, with our hands.
The room is dark wood and low light. The chair is oxblood leather, set on tile. There is always coffee on the stove, and the radio is on low. You are welcome to sit a while after your cut.
Jessica Mitchell, the owner, works the chair Tuesday through Saturday. We take appointments all day and walk-ins after 3 PM. Read the longer charter on our about page, or view our tariff.

— Honest Work, Plainly Priced —
"A clean part and an honest blade. The man's been cutting hair since the lights were gas. Best forty-two dollars I spend in a month."
